This pole is designed to function with MSR® shelters, but it will work with any appropriately sized shelter. The collapsible aircraft-grade aluminum shaft is light and easy to pack. The 8′ pole adjusts from 82 to 102 inches (208-259 cm), making it ideal for taller shelters. The 5′ adjustable pole has a range of 51 to 60 inches (130-152 cm), a common height range for mid-size tents. The 1.2 m (4 ft) pole adjusts from 119-140 cm (47-55 in) for smaller shelters
