Why performance camshafts? _
The camshaft uses lobes (called cams) that push against the valves to open them as the camshaft rotates; springs on the valves return them to their closed position. A larger lobe equals more air and fuel. More air and fuel equal a bigger BOOM in the combustion chamber which in turn equals more horsepower. Cam swaps are critical and have a great impact on an engine’s performance at different speeds. These cams make great power for the money spent and are easy to install. So, up your hp with a set of our performance cams. _
These cams work great in both N/A (naturally aspirated) and turbo applications. We have been able to achieve well over 600 Whp using these cams in our big Race Turbo YXZ builds. _
